How to Type Spanish Accents on Your Computer The written Spanish language uses several different accent marks and special characters. Keyboards sold in non-Spanish speaking countries do not include these as part of the standard keyboard. However, you can still access these accents and characters using unique codes. This page describes how to type Spanish accent marks on your computer. The procedure is different for PCs and for Macs. Note that in modern Spanish communication, capital letters do not use accent marks.
