Nice blog and interesting posts. I recommend using Pandora.com for music because once you put in one of your favorite artists or songs (or even genres), you will be introduced to a ton of new artists that you might never have thought of. Then when the songs come on you can bookmark them and view samples of almost all of their previous songs. You can also search online for "radio escuchar en vivo" (without the quotes) and you'll get some radio stations in different countries. A lot of times you can find some nice streaming music stations and again get introduce to new music that way.

For books I'd also recommend Amazon. The Barnes & Noble and Borders near me have some small sections of books in Spanish but I'm not sure what the stores are like by you. Also, it's always a good idea to find out where the immigrants live (there almost always are Latino communities if you look). When you go to their stores you can ask them if they know anyone selling books. And of course in the process you'll get to practice Spanish and also probably find produce, meats, and other food goods at much lower prices as a bonus! :) I have some other tips on my blog too. www.immersionlanguagelearning.com. Have fun!

For you to be able to perfect a certain language you must be able to know every word of it and how to use it in a conversation. Many can understand the word Spanish but not all of the people knows how to speak. And for you to be able to mater it you have to always practice t through a conversation or a guide that can help you.

Once you've learned how to speak in Spanish then it’s up to you how to enrich that leanings. In some ways, you may be able to apply it through reading books in Spanish or even listen to the music. There are a lot of ways on how to it for you to enrich your new skill and knowledge about the language in Spanish.

You may learn a certain language upon using it in a more interesting way. You may use a phrase or idiom for you to understand it well. Not only that idiom contains inspiring words but also it can be best use in learning a new language.

I usually order books from Amazon.com's Libros en Español section.

As for Latin music, here are a few of my current favorite artists:

Bachata - Aventura, Xtreme, Frank Reyes, Toby Love, Monchy and Alexandra, Luis Vargas

Salsa - Victor Manuelle, Alex Bueno, Michael Stuart

For DVDs, I've seen people selling copies of popular telenovelas on eBay, though they probably don't have subtitles.

This may sound like a dumb question, but I was wondering what you use as a source for your Spanish novels. I live in Missouri, and I wouldn’t even know where to begin to look for a Spanish novel. I would like to though, because I think it’s a great idea, especially if I could get one on a subject that I am interested in.

And thank you for the recommendation on the music. If you have any other recommendations (music wise) please post them. I’m not familiar with any spanish musical artists either and would welcome any recommendations from someone who is more familiar.

Also, are you aware of any good Spanish television programs that would be good? I don't have satellite or cable, but perhaps I could purchase some DVDs. It would be especially helpful if the DVDs had captions in both English and Spanish.

Whatever the method might be but be sure to learn the language from the right point. The area hardest to develop is your Spanish listening comprehension and if one focus more on this then it would be easy for him to learn Spanish easily.
